One of the main intentions of the workshop was to bring together an inter-disciplinary group of graduate students who are working on a similar topic. We hope that this first meeting of participants will lead to collaborations in the form of panel proposals or perhaps even co-authored publications. ESSHC Panel on "History in Transition"

Lia Antoniou and Julian Dierkes are organizing a session on "History in Transition" at the European Social Science History Conference in The Hague in March 2002. The panel proposal was a direct result of discussions on their small group at the workshop and will also include a presentation by Carolyn Kissane.
