Workshop

One of the main intentions of the workshop was to bring together an inter-disciplinary group of graduate students who are working on a similar topic. We hope that this first meeting of participants will lead to collaborations in the form of panel proposals or perhaps even co-authored publications. Please let us know of any collaborations that resulted from the workshop, so that we may document them here.
For those workshop participants working on Europe, Sophie Mützel, Julian Dierkes and Peter Katzenstein have initiated the formation of a network on "Identities" through the Council for European Studies. Please contact Sophie or Julian for more information or to join the network.
For those workshop participants working on Europe, Fiona Adamson is involved in the formation of a network on "Migration" through the Council for European Studies. Please contact Fiona for more information or to join the network.
Lia Antoniou and Julian Dierkes are organizing a session on "History in Transition" at the European Social Science History Conference in The Hague in March 2002. The panel proposal was a direct result of discussions on their small group at the workshop and will also include a presentation by Carolyn Kissane.
